Role Overview

UMENCO is recruiting a talented and perceptive Project Director, Experiential to join an award-winning experiential marketing and creative communications agency, working with the world’s leading luxury and contemporary brands.

In this role, the successful talent will lead and manage the agency’s roster of experiential projects, pitches and campaigns from concept to completion.

They will work closely with all of the agency’s disciplines – from design and creative to strategy and production – to support of the Executive Producer and Client Services Director, and will be asssisted by the Account Manager and Creative Coordinator.

The Project Director, Experiential will act as the link between the agency’s clients and its entire team and their key responsibility is in the successful initiation, planning, design, execution and controlling of live projects.

Through meticulous project management, the Project Director, Experiential will ensure that teams are managed effectively and that the expectations of clients are met and exceeded.

They will be the tip of the spear on key accounts, managing producers and vendors to deliver world-class work, while ensuring their team, clients and vendors enjoy the ride.

The talent we seek will uphold a staunch commitment to attention to detail and polished execution. They will demonstrate a dedicated accountability for overseeing end-to-end processes and maintaining the agency’s standards of excellence at every touchpoint.

The successful Project Director, Experiential will have a minimum of 5 years prior experience in project management, client-facing production, and/or client services at a creative agency or experiential production company.

The nature of this work requires direct experience in events and on the ground live work (although an integrated background is a plus). Having an innate understanding of how clients think and what they expect (and how to delight them along the way) will help you succeed in this role.

In addition, the successful individual will be well-versed in the local and global cultural landscape, with experience working for clients and on campaigns within the sphere of youth culture, fashion, luxury, and generally, best-in-class market leaders.
