Role Overview
UMENCO is currently seeking a Commercial Sales Manager for a contemporary lifestyle brand who has a focus on luxurious styles with a modern take on luxury.
The Commercial Sales Manager will be responsible for leading trade and commercial sales efforts across the Australian market, focusing on surpassing sales targets by fostering strong relationships within the Architecture and Design industries. This pivotal role aims to drive increased trade traffic through the brands showrooms and uncover opportunities to expand the company’s presence within both the commercial and residential trade markets. The ideal talent will be a proactive, results-oriented leader who excels in exceeding targets, identifying business opportunities and building lasting partnerships, ultimately positioning the brand as the top choice for commercial trade clients in Australia.
The successful talent will focus on cultivating and nurturing relationships within the architecture and design community while identifying new project opportunities. They Commercial Sales Manager will collaborate closely with the architecture and design industry on both residential and commercial projects, supporting specifications from initial conception to final delivery. The successful talent will also be tasked with strategically developing a balanced mix of short-term, mid-term and long-term projects to ensure a steady pipeline of commercial trade for James Said. Accountability for meeting and exceeding trade sales targets, converting leads into sales and leveraging existing industry connections to bring new opportunities to the business will be key responsibilities.
Additionally, the Commercial Sales Manager will conduct showroom tours, client presentations and trade meetings to showcase the brands product offerings and value proposition. They will work alongside the marketing team to implement trade-specific campaigns and promote special programs, while also enhancing brand visibility through participation in industry events, networking functions and trade shows. The role requires delivering regular feedback on market trends, opportunities and challenges to refine sales strategies. Finally, ensuring the smooth onboarding, engagement and ongoing maintenance of trade clients will be essential to the position. Ideal talents will have an extensive network within the architectural and design community, exceptional networking skills, a demonstrated history of success in trade sales and a strategic mindset with a passion for exceeding sales goals.
