Role Overview

UMENCO is recruiting with the opportunity to join an internationally renowned, Australian womenswear brand as Content Lead.

In this dynamic creative role, the Content Lead will assist in all aspects of planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns across the business.

They will collaborate and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide or assist in the production of all content output across a wide range of channels, including website copy, product descriptions, SEO, blogs, email, media releases, and newsletters.

In delivering on their content requirements, the Content Lead will develop an in-depth understanding of brand voice and champion its roll-out across a range of placements, in line with brand guidelines and business objectives.

They will assist in maintaining the content calendar across all channels, schedule and publish approved social media content, and will own creative and marketing briefs end-to-end, distilling complex subject matters into compelling, on-brand, and on-brief output.

The Content Lead will also own the community management across all social media channels day-to-day.

They will be able to confidently proof and edit their own work, as well as the work of other team members across departments, consistently instilling brand voice to maintain a distinct brand personality in all communications.

Under their remit, the Content Lead will also assist with ongoing analysis of content performance, ROI reporting, and campaign KPIs, simultaneously identifying and providing recommendations for further optimisation.

They will be able to apply their knowledge of fashion trends and technical garment attributes to produce informative, inspiring, and engaging product narratives, liaising with relevant internal and external departments to gather information as needed.

They will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development and rollout of brand identity projects through conceptual thinking, naming, verbal identity, and messaging development.

Across all of their output, they will ensure that copy is in line with SEO requirements and will strategically incorporate target keywords into content.

The talent we seek will be able to merge their understanding of commercial strategy with creative ability, in order to achieve overarching brand objectives. They will present with 5 years of experience in communications, content marketing, journalism, or content writing and will be able to demonstrate high-level editing skills with a strong eye for detail.

The successful Content Lead will have the ability to manage high workloads, tight deadlines, and competing priorities with professionalism. They will also be able to quickly identify, prioritize and deliver high-impact initiatives.
