Role Overview

UMENCO is recruiting a performance-focused Digital & eCommerce Manager for an Australian accessories and leather goods brand with a reputation for its meticulous quality and consideration of design and form.

Reporting to and working closely with the Creative and Managing Director, the Digital & eCommerce Manager will be responsible for the trading of the brand’s eCommerce business, and will play a significant role in the growth of this warm, flexible and agile business.

The Digital & eCommerce Manager will develop, execute, and scale full-funnel, omnichannel digital marketing strategies to accelerate brand reach, awareness, new customer acquisition, and retention.

Additionally, they will develop and execute innovative, multi-channel lead generation and nurturing campaigns to grow audiences, product awareness/interest, and new customer acquisition, alongside which they will build a data-driven audience and segmentation strategies using first-party customer and user data.

The scope of this role will see the Digital & eCommerce Manager work with always-on and ad-hoc digital campaigns across channels including; SEM, Paid Social, SEO, and third-party channels, and will involve the management of the performance of customer lifecycle EDM campaigns and overall performance of the email channel.

They will be accountable to manage and optimise paid media budget distribution to achieve and improve upon key objectives including; CPA, ROAS, CLV, CPM, and CPL, as well as develop attribution methodologies and reporting to accurately assess the commercial impact of digital marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives.

The Digital & eCommerce Manager will also brief in-house creatives to generate high-quality content to support campaigns, and will coordinate and distribute campaign assets across agencies, partners, and stakeholders to ensure on-time campaign activation and brand consistency across channels.

The talent we seek will have a vast depth of experience working with Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, Microsoft, Google Analytics, and Facebook business manager. They will also be proficient with analytics and data visualisation tools including Excel, Google Analytics, Data Studio, and Tableau, and will have hands-on knowledge and experience with ESP, CRM, and/or CDP platforms.

They will have a background in digital marketing and/or eCommerce, trading platforms, and online merchandising, as well as demonstrated experience in successfully exceeding online sales targets, and experience managing third-party agencies.

Additionally, the successful talent will have proven success scaling digital brand awareness, customer acquisition, and/or retention initiatives at a B2C retail brand or agency, as well as strong experience managing and optimising multi-channel digital campaign budgets.
