Role Overview


UMENCO is recruiting a Digital Merchandiser for a brand who prides itself on using sustainable and high-quality materials, local ethically produced natural fibres, with global co-creator supply chains and renowned for its exceptional leadership team and a positive people culture.

Dedicated to developing and executing the digital merchandising strategies to maximise sales, you will be responsible for stock efficiency and ensuring the on-site merchandising strategies drive conversions. 

Reporting into the eCommerce Manager, this role will be accountable for achieving online sales targets through the optimisation of stock. The role will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive a digital-first approach to product and marketing.

Digital Merchandising

  • Develop and maintain merchandising strategies on-site that drive conversion and improve the customer shopping experience.
  • Effectively merchandise products to maximize upsell and cross sell opportunities including populating ‘complete the look’ for individual styles.
  • Analysis on reporting from product recommendations engine.
  • Manage and merchandise promotional, markdown and outlet products.
  • Ensuring promotions are aligned with trade calendar and ensuring consistency across retail and online stores.
  • Execute online promotions and identify opportunities for online exclusive promotions.
  • Identify products for digital targeting & EDM features.
  • Liaise with Online Content Coordinator on intake and eCommerce shoot schedule.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to plan online merchandising, analysing, and forecasting the needs of eCommerce merchandise for the website.
  • Optimizing omni-channel fulfillment by analysing data and identifying product gaps and opportunities in store fulfillment locations.

Reporting

  • Review sales performance and stock levels of each category daily to ensure online has sufficient stock.
  • Daily and weekly product and category reporting and analysis.
  • Deriving on-site product/category actions to deliver online trade results.
  • Analysis of customer search terms on site reviewing popular search terms and searches with no product results.
  • Identify new product and category expansion opportunities.
