Role Overview

UMENCO is currently recruiting an eCommerce Assistant to join a contemporary womenswear brand.

The successful talent will be responsible for dispatching ecommerce orders, responding to customer enquiries and maintaining warehouse inventory. This is a hands-on role that requires being on your feet for most of the day, working in a fast-paced environment and supporting the team.

In this role, the eCommerce Assistant will manager all aspects of the ecommerce operations, including picking, packing and dispatching customer orders, responding to enquiries via email and live chat and processing returns. The successful talent will ensure all packaging materials are prepared and stocked, coordinate courier bookings and maintain complete accuracy across all tech platforms connected to ecommerce orders. The eCommerce Assistant may also assist with brand gifting orders as required, supporting the smooth operation of the brands online business.

The eCommerce Assistant will also take responsibility for inventory and warehouse management, including receiving inbound stock from suppliers, conducting regular stocktakes, organising inventory and ensuring accurate stock levels across all systems. Additional responsibilities include coordinating deliveries and pickups from local makers, managing bulk tock replenishments to retail locations and wholesale partners and overseeing drycleaning coordination. Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workplace at all times is essential to this role.

The role requires an individual who has a strong work ethic, positive can-do attitude and excellent organisational skills.
