Role Overview
UMENCO is currently recruiting an eCommerce Executive for a sustainable accessories brand.
The eCommerce Executive will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of both the local and international ecommerce sites, ensuring smooth trading and optimal user experience. This includes tasks such as seasonal product uploads, site merchandising, content management and optimising the customer journey to drive commercial growth across digital platforms. The role is aimed at meeting business targets while aligning with broader company objective and global strategy. The ideal talent will be a proactive collaborator and problem solver, passionate about customer satisfaction, digital innovation and growth. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel in time management and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Key responsibilities include managing the daily operations of the ecommerce sites, including accurate stock management, product catalog updates, pricing and promotions and coordinating with dispatch teams for prompt order processing. The eCommerce Executive will also oversee online returns, work with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive omni-channel strategies and develop data-driven merchandising approaches to drive sales.
Additional tasks involve managing seasonal product photoshoots, creating product copy, dispatching seasonal assets to global markets and conducting regular site maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and a superior user experience. The successful talent wil also implement SEO strategies to boost search visibility and manage online customer service to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
The role requires strong analytical skills and deep understanding of online customer behaviour and trends. The eCommerce Executive will track and report on performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimise results and achieve business goals. Collaboration with the Head of Global Marketing & Digital is key and the successful talent will be expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the competitive landscape and identify growth opportunities in line with the global strategy. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in luxury/fashion ecommerce and expertise in tools such as Shopify Plus and Google Analytics. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are essential.
