Role Overview

UMENCO is recruiting an eCommerce Merchandiser who will be responsible for upholding accurate brand representation on all websites while driving online sales and varying website performance metrics to meet company goals. This role owns the uploading and merchandising products, producing product & website copy, coordinating and uploading website content, ensuring brand filters and style guides are met and represented.

As the eCommerce Merchandiser your key measurable will be sales targets, conversion rates and the delivery of campaigns on time, on brand and aligned to the seasonal calendars. This is a global role working across multiple locations, in both hemispheres in multiple currencies. You will coordinate and execute content for all brand and regional websites, working with brand teams to ensure content is optimised and represents the brands accurately. Following company brand, content and marketing plans, meeting brand filters, company procedures and ecommerce best practices at all times you will plan, and execute the uploading of product across all brand and regional websites, following brand filters, company procedures and eCommerce best practices.

Furthermore, a key focus of the eCommerce Merchandiser role will be to deliver direction and optimisation suggestions of eCommerce product assets, work closely with brand teams to ensure product assets meet requirements and follow ecommerce product asset style guide. It is essential that you present with the proven experience to drive ongoing optimisations in collaboration with brand teams in order to lift brand representation, product representation and website conversions.

The role will see you assisting on eCommerce product shoots when required, ensuring that all necessary products are shot, named, sized and delivered to ecommerce product requirements, working with brand teams to copy-write accurate and on brand website product descriptions for across all brands and products and ensuring pricing and markdowns are accurate across each brand and regional you will follow SEO best practice, stretch iA and improve user experience and product representation.
