Role Overview

UMENCO is recruiting a Head of eCommerce for one of Australia’s most coveted fashion and lifestyle brands as they enter a period of seminal growth.

This role presents the opportunity to join a high-performing team, working to drive an ambitious growth trajectory across Australian and international markets.

The Head of eCommerce will be responsible for accelerating growth across the brand’s eCommerce channels and building, managing, and setting the strategic agenda for all eCommerce functions.

The talent we seek will leverage their ability to think commercially and strategically to establish a multi-year vision, growth plan, and strategic priorities to drive best-in-class digital experience and deliver on brand and conversion objectives.

In doing so, they will identify and scale levers for growth including digital marketing optimisation, CRM and personalisation, and site experience enhancements.

The Head of eCommerce will also be accountable for end-to-end eCommerce user experience, CRM strategy, digital channel plan promotional activities, and all facets of web development.

They will also lead online monitoring and reporting, engaging in continuous learning to deliver outstanding ongoing execution and course corrections where required.

Parallel to this, they will manage department revenue and expense lines to ensure profitable, sustainable eCommerce growth, and will develop robust and compelling business cases to secure investment and resources for eCommerce and online enhancements and activities.

Our ideal talent will have previous experience managing, training, inspiring, and developing a team; strong communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to multitask and meet deadlines, and a proactive, results-oriented attitude.

They will have a demonstrated history of driving traffic, conversion, and sales growth in e-commerce, with at least ten years experience in a similar role, working with a global multi-channel retailer in the fashion or lifestyle space.

The successful talent will also have an in-depth knowledge of data and insights-driven marketing within a commercial retail setting.

They will be able to align cross-functional teams on strategic plans, effectively engage senior stakeholders to manage and drive interdepartmental dependencies, and have the ability to balance creative, brand and commercial priorities.
