Role Overview


UMENCO is recruiting for a Head of Sales role,  to lead our clients’ Sales Channel (Buying, B&M Retail, Wholesale and E-commerce). You will lead the strategic development and execution of the Sales Channel strategies, focused on the customer experience, driving profitable outcomes whilst vigorously upholding the clients’ brand standards.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Accountable for the strategic development and delivery of the Customer Service Experience, focused on a unified Sales Channel experience. 
  • Accountable for the strategic development and delivery of the Sales strategy to deliver Sales, Margin, Sell Thru, Closing Stock and Profit Targets.
  • Accountable for ensuring the balance of driving profitable outcomes, whilst maintaining Brand Standards across the Sales Channel.
  • Accountable to lead and coach the Sales Channels to manage operational expenses in line with FY Budgets and Cash Flow strategies. 
  • Accountable to deliver a Product Assortment that upholds the Brand Vision and Mission. 
  • Accountable for managing seasonal stock-flow to maximise trade opportunities, communicating to all stakeholders to support the brands merchandising, sales, and customer experience strategy.
  • Accountable for providing seasonally relevant feedback to Design (and Stakeholders), which drives trend analysis, exemplary price architecture, and option plan strategy. 
  • Accountable to seasonally provide a framework to onboard the Sales Channel Team with Product Knowledge, Marketing and Buying initiatives. 
  • Accountable to monitor in-season trading performance, identify reorder opportunities, and determine exit strategies to maximise sales, margin, and closing stock across the Sales Channels. 
  • Accountable to optimize Website UX, keep up to date with technology developments, and seek to consistently improve the customer journey through the E-commerce Channel. 
  • Accountable to use Data Analytics to deliver the best in class SEO, SEM results. 
  • Accountable to ensure Wholesale stockists align to and deliver the Vision, Mission, and sales objectives.  
  • Accountable to ensure a thorough understanding of consumer behaviours and trends through robust analysis. 
  • Accountable for maintaining effective relationships with key Branded suppliers and Wholesale partners.
  • Accountable to coach & mentor the Sales Channel, building a unified sales team who passionately uphold the brand standards, customer service experience with commercial understanding.
  • Accountable to lead a team culture that promotes transparency, openness, problem-solving & continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for self-development and career growth.
