Role Overview

UMENCO is recruiting an agile and organised Logistics Coordinator for a renowned Australian lifestyle brand, known for their contemporary design sensibilities and coastal influence.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will act as the front line for all delivery and logistics inquiries. As such, they will have a hands-on approach encompassing all aspects of the 3PL warehouse, stock and transport operations.

In this role, the Logistics Coordinator will be supported by the wider logistics, sales, and online team to drive efficiencies across an ever-changing supply chain, logistics and transportation environment. 

They will work to ensure each delivery runs smoothly, being available at all times to amend any delivery issues. actioning any customer enquiries relating to delivery and logistics issues post-sale, via email, phone, and live chat.

The Logistics Coordinator will liaise with the 3PL warehouse regarding inbound shipments to ensure orders are dispatched in a timely manner; will assist in the triaging of enquiries via the Hubspot CRM ticketing system, and will support the inventory controller to ensure all store delivery requirements are met and receipted including stock transfers, customer returns and online orders.

They will process new replacement orders for customers where required, and will work closely with the 3PL warehouse to ensure the returning of products from customers homes is as efficient as possible.

Additionally, they will support customers through any warranty needs by triaging enquiries to the correct department, delivering regular communications to the Product Manager regarding customer feedback relating to the quality of product.

This role also necessitates the accurate storage of historical delivery information and the real-time maintenance of the ordering system, and will require experience in supporting stock-takes across retail and warehouse.

The successful talent will be proactive in their approach to solving customer problems and complaints, and will be able to identify opportunities to add value to the customer experience.

The Logistics Coordinator will continually strive to achieve a high stock turnover through the reallocation process in order to fulfil customer orders as soon as possible, and will review and improve system processes within the ERP to ensure accuracy in relation to stock holdings and sales orders.

The talent we seek will present with 2-3 years of experience in a logistics or stock related role, alongside experience with Hubspot or Netsuite.

They will hold exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities both written and verbal; have demonstrated people facing experience; possess a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment, and be accurate and highly organised.

Alongside this, they will hold demonstrated stock controlling experience, as well as handling returns and warranties.
