Role Overview


UMENCO is recruiting a Marketing Manager to join the team of A.EMERY, based in Melbourne. The Marketing Manager will oversee all of A.EMERY marketing initiatives including content creation, social media and wholesale marketing. The role will be reporting directly to the creative director and working side by side with them to create and execute strategic marketing initiatives. This position will require a forward thinking, driven individual with a personal investment in the product and the A.EMERY aesthetic. The successful talent will have a minimum of 4 years working experience in a similar role within the fashion industry, demonstrating a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work both individually and as part of a small team. Founded in 2017 A.EMERY has become a globally recognised brand with a strong presence across Europe, the USA, as well as Australia. Having launched with minimal black, leather sandals their ranges have quickly grown to encompass a full footwear and ready to wear collection. Based in Melbourne’s inner north, their growing team thrives on problem solving and is passionate about approachable luxury product. They work with high quality materials to create timeless wardrobe pieces.  

The key responsibilities are to build, manage and execute A.EMERY’s marketing calendar and the overarching strategy, report to management on the performance against KPI’s and drive business growth in alignment with the A.EMERY ethos. They will work with external digital agency to execute paid social strategy; plan, create and execute EDM campaigns and manage influencer gifting program and cultivate relationships within the space.

The successful talent will control marketing samples, loaning and gifting processes, collaborate with external agencies to creating ecommerce imagery and assist in the creation of seasonal campaigns and social content. They will also work closely with wholesale accounts to facilitate marketing requests.

The Marketing Manager will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing or similar field, have experience with Adobe suite, Shopify, Klaviyo or similar systems. Their aim will be to maintain brand positioning ensuring appropriate and professional representation at all times. The successful talent will demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and work within a fast-paced environment, they will be a natural strategic thinker with critical problem solving capabilities. Exceptional written and verbal communications ills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team is essential.
