Role Overview


UMENCO is recruiting a passionate Senior PR & Projects Manager for an Australian womenswear brand, with an affinity for conceptualising and executing refined, aspirational brand communications.

The Senior PR & Projects Manager will be accountable for driving organic traffic both to stores and across digital channels, with the view to foster the commercial objectives of the business.

In this role, the Senior PR & Projects Manager will coordinate and implement considered, strategic seasonal campaigns, events and activations that will drive targeted footfall across all retail locations, supporting the Marketing Director, Creative Director and content team to ensure that creative deliverables align with commercial objectives.

They will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Director in carrying out all seasonal content requirements; executing a 360-degree marketing plan; optimising all campaigns at top of funnel; and briefing the digital and social team to deliver on the overarching marketing plan and weekly trade requirements, inspiring them to think tactically about driving key product categories.

In addition, the Senior PR & Projects Manager will be accountable for the brand’s domestic and international wholesale accounts, liaising and negotiating the seasonal marketing plan with key multi-brand retail partners, ensuring that all content supplied is timely, pertinent and well-aligned to the retailer’s brand.

The talent we seek will be an adept copywriter, with an innate cognisance of the brand’s tone of voice and the ability to modulate tone across a scope of communication touch-points. They will be proactive, innovative and strategic in their thinking around marketing, able to propose solutions that meet commercial and brand requirements and translate these to the team to establish a collective vision.

The Senior PR & Projects Manager will hold a strong analytical compass, exceptional organisation and communication skills, with the confidence to manage intersecting day-to-day deadlines and long-term projects.

The successful talent will have 5-years’ experience in B2C marketing, preferably within the fashion and lifestyle industries. They will have a history working in digital marketing, with a demonstrated record of delivering growth within budget, delivering reporting and insights, and the proven ability to manage a team to achieve collective results.

They will be an adroit communicator, able to build and evolve relationships with a multitude of internal and external stakeholders, and will be inherently curious in their pursuit of improving processes and technologies.
