Role Overview

UMENCO is recruiting with the opportunity to join a noted design and home brand as Trade Business Manager.

In this role, the Trade Business Manager will be responsible for building the trade sales business in Sydney from the ground up. In doing so, they will ensure that the budgeted revenue and profit targets are achieved and that the company’s market development growth commitments are met.

The Trade Business Manager will oversee the initiation and development of new accounts with high-end designers, by actively pushing new and current products, regularly meeting and making contact with customers to close sales, and maintaining an efficient follow-up system.

A significant component of this role involves conducting visits to architecture and design clients to drive the growth of pivotal new commercial and residential accounts and foster opportunities to achieve profit and growth objectives. As such, the Trade Business Manager will be an authority on the brand’s products, able to explain the benefits and relevant technical details of the products, brand ethics, and story to result in an engaging relationship with the brand.
