UMENCO is recruiting an agile and organised Fashion Wholesale & Buying Coordinator for a leading global fashion sales agency.

This role is suited to an experienced retail sales assistant who is looking to extend themselves into an aligned head-office role.

Under their remit, the Wholesale & Buying Coordinator will manage fashion wholesale orders, reviewing order confirmations, signed orders, deposits, and ready goods. 

Alongside this, they will provide consultancy to each client to recommend shipping quantities and timelines, will organise delivery, create ‘go-to’ relationships to effectively manage payments, and will share monthly statements of outstanding payments and upcoming payments for all the agency’s brands. 

The Wholesale & Buying Coordinator will also collate summary reports that overview results WoW, MoM, and at the end of the season.

Parallel to their primary duties, they will be engaged in ad-hoc projects that include managing faculties, image requests, data entry, available stock updates, and maintaining master lists of customer contact information.

The talent we seek will present with 1-2 years in a similar role, or retail shop-floor stock management role, and will have experience reconciling payments, creating reports, managing stock logistics, and working to a critical path.

They will hold exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities both written and verbal; have demonstrated people-facing experience; possess a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment, and be accurate and highly organised.

Alongside this, they will hold demonstrated stock controlling experience, as well as proficiency in Excel.
