UMENCO is recruiting a commercial Wholesale Designer to join the team at a revered Australian fashion and lifestyle brand.

In this role, the Wholesale Designer will design for both mens and womens wholesale collections, designing a balanced range to service a diverse suite of wholesale accounts, while upholding the brand DNA.

They will identify design opportunities to drive commercial ROI whilst delivering exceptional value in line with brand creative direction, brand vision, and philosophy, and brand core and seasonal assortment.

The Wholesale Designer will have multiple influences – Wholesale Manager, brand Founders, Creative Director, and the Design Manager, and will be able to filter these and uphold a strong sense of direction.

This role is highly commercially-focused and will work to meet margin targets, balancing the whole range to achieve these goals.

The talent we seek will have an in-depth understanding of mens fit and equally, of the brand’s customers.

They will hold an appreciation for minimal design and will be able to demonstrably understand and interpret trends and customer purchasing behaviours.

The successful talent will have fit and construction understanding experience, proven execution and delivery of ranges within Brand DNA, and the proven technical competencies.
