Role Overview


UMENCO is currently seeking a Wholesale Manager for global lifestyle brand.

The Wholesale Manager for Australia and New Zealand is responsible for driving sales performance across wholesale and B2B channels in Australia and New Zealand, including pharmacies, independent wholesalers, speciality beauty retailers, department stores and corporate partners. Reporting to the Commercial Director of Australia and New Zealand and leading a small team, this role owns revenue delivery against budget while ensuring strategic account selection and onboarding of partners that align with brand standards and long-term growth objectives.

The role is accountable for developing and executing annual wholesale and B2B business plans, monitoring performance against targets and implementing corrective actions where required. This includes overseeing sell-in and sell-out activity, setting tailored goals for each partner, managing financial and marketing risk and proactively identifying opportunities to increase market share. Close collaboration with Marketing, Supply Chain and senior leadership ensures promotional activity, inventory levels and forecasting are aligned to commercial and financial objectives.

A strong focus is placed on account management and brand execution. The Wholesale Manager builds and maintains collaborative relationships with key partners, leads negotiations to secure optimal space and visibility and ensures consistent implementation of brand standards across all touchpoints. In the department store channel, the role partners with internal stakeholders to elevate the guest experience, lead and develop the team and drive recruitment, conversion, brand ranking and long-term loyalty.

As a people leader and member of the management team, the Wholesale Manager recruits, develops and coaches direct reports, setting clear goals and supporting ongoing performance and professional growth. The role also acts as a key source of market intelligence for the Australian and New Zealand region, reporting on competitor activity and brand performance. Success requires strong wholesale experience, commercial and financial acumen, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead teams while consistently delivering results in the best interest of the brand.
