Role Overview
UMENCO is seeking a Head of Global Expansion for a global technology brand.
This brand is entering a pivotal phase of growth. The company has build significant brand credibility and strong relationships across the industry. One of the most valuable opportunities ahead lies in deepening these relationships – expanding from individual brand partnerships into broader group-wide, regional and global adoption. This role will lead this next stage of expansion.
Working closely with the CEO, the Head of Global Expansion will focus on unlocking growth within existing enterprise clients, flagship accounts and priority retail group through a highly curated, relationship-led approach. Rather than traditional outbound sales, the role centres on translating trust, industry networks and brand equity into meaningful commercial outcomes. By identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and broader adoption across regions and banners, the role will help expand the brands footprint across global retail groups.
The role requires a talent who combines deep retail understanding with strong commercial instincts and exceptional relationship-building skills. Success will come from building credibility with senior leaders, connecting networks across customers, partners and advisors and opening doors through warm introductions and trusted industry relationships. Representing the brand at the highest levels, the role will ensure every interaction reflects the calibre of the product, the team and the brand.
Internally the Head of Global Expansion will act as a key commercial partner to the CEO while working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product and leadership teams. The role will help shape global expansion strategy, contribute to new go-to-market opportunities and ensure strong execution across complex, multi-stakeholder accounts. Ultimately, it will bring structure, clarity and momentum to a nuanced, relationship-driven growth channel while playing a meaningful role in scaling the brands global presence.
