Role Overview
UMENCO is currently seeking a commercially driven National Account Manager for a global lifestyle brand to lead the growth and performance of the wholesale and B2B channels across Australia and New Zealand.
This role will be responsible for achieving revenue targets and driving market expansion, this role will oversee a diverse portfolio of partners including pharmacies, speciality beauty retailers, department stores, independent wholesalers and corporate accounts. Working closely with the Commercial Director, the National Account Manager will develop and execute strategic business plans that support sustainable growth while ensuring strong alignment with brand objectives.
A key focus of the role is building and maintaining high-performing partnerships across all assigned accounts. The successful talent will take ownership of account strategy, sales performance and relationship management, ensuring partners are supported to achieve mutual success. The role also involves identifying and securing new wholesale and B2B opportunities, carefully selecting partners that align with brand standards and contribute to increased market presence, brand awareness and commercial growth throughout the ANZ region.
Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Education and Finance teams, you will oversee forecasting, inventory planning, promotional activity and performance reporting. The National Account Manager will monitor business results against budget, proactively identify opportunities and risks and implement strategies to maximise sell-in, sell-out and overall channel profitability. In addition, you will provide valuable market intelligence, monitor competitor activity and contribute to broader commercial initiatives as part of the leadership team.
Leading a small team, this position requires a confident people leader who can recruit, develop and inspire high-performing talent. The successful talent will bring strong wholesale experience, commercial acumen and financial accountability, combined with exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
