Junior Production Manager

UMENCO is seeking a Junior Production Manager for a female-founded brand whose designs are centred around key seasonal styles and modern tailored essentials.

This role offers the opportunity to oversee the end-to-end production process for the brand, ensuring seasonal collections are delivered on time, within budget and to the brands exceptional quality standards. Working closely with the Head of Production and Design Planning, the successful talent will manage the production critical path from development through to delivery, acting as the key link between internal teams and offshore suppliers to support the successful execution of every collection.

The Junior Production Manager will take ownership of supplier communication, production timelines and the seasonal sampling process, coordinating everything from purchase orders and sample approvals through to fit sessions, bulk production and shipping. Collaborating across design, garment technology, textile and merchandising, ensuring milestones are achieved, production risks are identified early and operational processes run seamlessly throughout the product lifecycle.

The successful talent will build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers while overseeing production administration, costings, compliance, invoicing and reporting. The Junior Production Manager will monitor offshore production performance, resolve quality issues, contribute to supplier onboarding and continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, strengthen supplier partnerships and support the brands ongoing growth.

The ideal talent will bring proven production management experience within the fashion or apparel industry, with a strong understanding of offshore manufacturing, critical path management and supplier relationships.
