UMENCO is currently recruiting a Senior Designer to join a contemporary RTW womenswear brand.

This is an opportunity for an experienced designer to bring their creative vision, technical expertise and autonomous approach to a team that centres around considered design. Reporting to the design Room Manager and working closely with the Creative Director of Design, this role sits at the intersection of creativity and execution. The Senior Designer will play a key role in shaping their assigned product categories, contributing seasonal direction and sharing knowledge to elevate the broader design team.

In this position, the Senior Designer will lead end-to-end design processes – from trend research and concept development through to final fit – ensuring all designs align with brand identity, commercial objectives and critical timelines. The successful talent will communicate seasonal direction across the business while consistently delivering thoughtful, on-brand collections.

With over four years experience in womenswear design, the Senior Designer will bring strong category expertise, a refined design sensibility and a collaborative mindset. The successful talent will be commercially aware, globally informed and confident working cross-functionally to deliver collections that resonate beyond the Australian market.
