Senior Interior Architect

UMENCO is currently seeking a Senior Interior Architect for a celebrated interior design studio, known for its sophisticated, highly curated approach to design.

The Senior Interior Architect will lead high-end residential and select commercial projects from concept through to completion. This is a pivotal role for an experienced and design-driven professional who can take full ownership of bespoke projects, ensuring the original creative vision is executed with precision, consistency and exceptional attention to detail. Working closely with the Design Director, the successful talent will oversee the entire project lifecycle while maintaining the highest standards of technical delivery and client service.

Key responsibilities include leading all stages of project delivery, from concept development and spatial planning through to detailed construction documentation, consultant coordination and on-site implementation. The Senior Interior Architect will develop bespoke joinery, curate finished and materials and manage timelines, budgets and communication across clients, consultants and contractors to ensure each project is delivered seamlessly and to an exceptional standard. Proficiency in Vectorworks is essential, along with the ability to produce highly detailed and accurate technical documentation.

The ideal talent will have 5-10 years experience within the high-end residential and/or commercial interiors sector, with a strong design sensibility and a genuine appreciation for vintage and antique pieces. The Senior Interior Architect will be a creative problem solver with experience delivering highly customised projects, combining technical expertise with excellent organisational skills and a polished, client-facing approach.
