Role Overview


UMENCO is currently seeking an eCommerce Coordinator to join the team of a dynamic jewellery brand at a time of great growth.

This role will be managing and optimising of the day-to-day operations of the online store. This includes overseeing product uploads and enrichment, managing content and executing promotional campaigns.

The eCommerce Coordinator will be tasked with on-site merchandising and enhancing the search functionality of the websites. Your role is crucial in improving the user experience, driving sales growth, and ensuring that the online presence adheres to the brand’s standards and objectives.

In the area of product management and enrichment, the successful candidate will handle the uploading of products, including descriptions, images, pricing and ensuring accuracy and consistency across all platforms. The eCommerce Coordinator will also oversee product management on external platforms. Collaboration with the inventory and logistics teams will be essential to guarantee product availability and timely order fulfilment.

The eCommerce Coordinator will work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies that drive sales and enhance customer engagement as well as a working with a Graphic Designer to work on promotional materials. Additionally, this role will support the eCommerce Coordinator in executing strategies across various platforms including the website, Facebook, Google, CRM, affiliated marketing and display marketing.

This role will be responsible for website development and be able to study website traffic and sales performance to search out trends and opportunities for improvement and to enhance the online store’s performance and user experience.

The successful talent will have experience within eCommerce and digital marketing. A strong understanding of Shopify is highly advantageous as well as experience with Searchspring, Klaviyo and Facebook Ads Manager. Proficiency in data analysis and using analytic tools such as Google Analytics is required. The eCommerce Coordinator will also possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, strong project management abilities and a creative, customer focused approach.
