UMENCO is currently recruiting a Head of Operations for a sustainable accessories brand. This role will be based in Colombo, Sri Lanka – and will require frequent travel to other regions. This role will be instrumental in executing the operational strategy and fostering excellence within the operational teams.

This role demands a dynamic leader who can inspire and guide direct reports while implementing improvements and developing efficient processes. This role will focus on collaborating with in-house consultants to reskill staff, oversee compliance and legal requirements and ensure that all departments are equipped to meet delivery and quality targets.

Furthermore, the Head of Operations will oversee third-party quality control operations and support supply chain logistics, ensuring that strategic objectives are met efficiently. This multifaceted role calls for a talent with extensive experience in factory planning, strong emotional intelligence and a commitment to the brands strong values. The ideal talent will have a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience within an operational environment.
