UMENCO is currently seeking a Production Manager for a sustainable, accessories brand.

The Production Manager will be responsible for an overseeing and managing production, schedules, planning and delivery reports, while consistency driving improvements in manufacturing processes to upload the highest quality standards and operational efficiencies. This role will be responsible for managing production for both finished goods and raw materials, negotiating costs, and developing sourcing strategies.

As Production Manager, the successful talent will be responsible for creating, analysing and optimising production plans and will coordinate weekly critical path meetings with Production Coordinators to ensure deadlines are met, address any risks and implement corrective actions.

Supplier management is a crucial aspect of this role. You will be responsible for executing brand vendor and sourcing strategies, conducting seasonal reviews and analyses of vendor performance and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.

Ethical sourcing and compliance management are also key components of the role. The successful talent will oversee factory standards, driving ethical sourcing initiatives.

While reporting to the Head of Production, the Production Manager will be supported by and manage the full employment cycle of a team. The ideal talent will be process-oriented, detail-focused, and possess strong organisational, communication, analytical, and leadership aspects, fabric quality control and Excel.
