UMENCO is currently seeking a a Jewellery Designer to join a contemporary jewellery brand.

As the Jewellery Designer, the successful talent will work alongisde the Creative Director and Designer in assisting to conceptualise, create and plan the collections. A creative mindset and strong understanding of the art, design and fashion industry are essential as well as experience within one of these industries.

The key responsibilities of the Jewellery Designer will be to research design concepts for future collections, research industry trends, have the ability to refine designs efficiently using design skills. The successful talent will also liaise with and manage suppliers during the sampling process and liaise with the production and inventory teams.

The successful talent will be a creative at heart, have experience within a creative design industry and be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. It is preferable to have 2-3 years of experience in jewellery design and with this will come technical knowledge and an understanding of detailed product measurements.
