Role Overview


UMENCO is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer for a female-founded brand whose designs are centred around key seasonal styles and modern tailored essentials.

As a Senior Graphic Designer, the talent will be responsibilities encompass a wide range of creative and design tasks to ensure that all visual assets align with the brand’s standards. This includes managing weekly homepage and banner designs, creating layouts for various landing pages and overseeing the development and management of the brand portal Additionally, you will update seasonal content for website popups and sign-up forms to keep the sire fresh and engaging.  Collaborating closely with third-party creatives and retouchers will be essential to ensure that imagery meets eCommerce standards.

In the eCommerce space, the Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for image management, including labeling and filing imagery, as well as providing high-end retouching when needed. The successful talent will also offer recommendations and create mockups for website changes, ensuring the site is always evolving to meet business needs. Another important aspect of your role will involve ensuring that website popups are brand-compliant, using Klaviyo and HTML where necessary. The talent will also create and update assets for promotional and seasonal launches, ensuring they are optimised for platforms like Searchspring.

The talents work will also extend to lookbook creation and managing campaign imagery. This includes designing seasonal lookbooks for domestic and international boutiques, selling seasons and retail stores. The Senior Graphic Designer will be involved in the creation of moodboards for photoshoots, working closely with the marketing team to align on visual direction. Attendance to photoshoots will be required to ensure content meets marketing requirements, including resizing and retouching images for final use.

Additionally, the Senior Graphic Designer will play a key role in EDM and marketing campaign development. The talent will manage marketing calendars for the USA and AU markets, especially during major promotional periods. The expertise will also be utilised in capturing behind-the-scenes content for marketing efforts and assisting with TikTok content creation. The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for digital asset management and organisation and packaging design as well as manage and support the development of the Marketing Assistant and Graphic Designer ensuring that key performance indicators such as timely asset delivery, effective time management and the maintenance of graphic skills are met.
