UMENCO is recruiting an experienced Wholesale Manager to join an Australian fashion brand that is grounded in an appreciation of considered design and refined simplicity.

In this role, the Wholesale Manager will be responsible for supporting the execution of the wholesale sales strategy to deliver department profit targets. 

They will be accountable for the general day-to-day management of the brands’ boutique business, and equally, will manage the wholesale ATS stock process ensuring stock is reconciled seasonally and is made productive. 

They will also be responsible for providing seasonally relevant feedback and competitor analysis, and will effectively manage customer feedback, ensuring key stakeholders are informed and engaged to provide long-term business solutions.

The Wholesale Manager will drive the wholesale critical path, supporting the brand through selling periods and customer experience strategy. 

At all times they will ensure a thorough understanding of consumer behaviors and trends through robust analysis, providing seasonally relevant feedback to design (and Stakeholders) to drive trend analysis, exemplary price architecture, and option plan strategy. 

The Wholesale Manager will monitor in-season trading performance, identifying reorder opportunities and determining exit strategy to maximise sales, margin, and closing stock. 

The successful talent will maintain effective relationships with existing stockists and research new stockist opportunities and will work collaboratively with the warehouse to ensure all wholesale indent/reorders are processed in line with due dates. 

The ideal talent will contribute to a team culture that promotes transparency, openness, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

They will hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with experience working with both sole traders and major retailers.

The Wholesale Manager will have a proven ability to achieve consistent wholesale KPIs, and will hold advanced Excel and reporting acumen.
